Raised Voices 7: The New Normal

Broadcast Thursday 27 January 2022

Made during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, this is the 7th Raised Voices film from Arc Theatre's female empowerment group. The project is a weekly drama and presentation skills group for young women aged 11 and over from schools and colleges across the Borough, who have come together to celebrate female empowerment by producing a series of new films and workshop resources created to inspire, encourage discussion on, and raise awareness of issues challenging young people today.

Raised Voices is delivered in collaboration with the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham and the Mayor’s Office for Policing & Crime (MOPAC), and supported by the Jack Petchey Foundation.
