Take part in a series of workshops in movement, choreography and gesture, with a live performance at the Becontree 100 Festival this summer. The piece will be in response to a new public artwork Parsloes Memphis by artist Eva Rothschild installed in Parsloes Park and the workshops will be led by Studio Wayne McGregor, creative engine for choreographer and director Wayne McGregor CBE.

We are looking for performers, boys aged 14-18, for movement and choreography workshops with Studio Wayne McGregor. There will be a series of taster sessions followed by a week-long programme, resulting in a filmed performance and a live performance at the Becontree 100 Festival in August. Sessions will be held at Future Youth Zone, see below for dates and times.

Tuesday 20 July, 3-5pm
Thursday 22 July, 7-9pm
Tuesday 27 July, 4-6pm
Thursday 29 July, 7-9pm

The subsequent programme will run from Monday 2 August - Saturday 7 August, 11am-4pm.

The live performance at the Becontree 100 Festival in Parsloes Park will take place on Saturday 14 August, 3pm.
